Snr Mechanical Project Engineer (Data Centres)
Location: UK & Ireland
Pay Rate: Up to £75,000 per annum
Job Description:
The Senior Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems in data centre projects. They will work closely with the project team to ensure that all mechanical systems meet the necessary requirements and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the design and implementation of mechanical systems in data centre projects
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure project success
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on mechanical systems
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in data centre projects
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
