Pay Rate: $175,000 per annum

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Permitting to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the permitting process, ensuring compliance with regulations and timelines. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline the permitting process
  • Manage a team of permitting specialists to ensure timely and accurate completion of permits
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to obtain necessary approvals
  • Monitor changes in regulations and adjust permitting processes accordingly
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on permitting status and issues

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in permitting or regulatory compliance
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local permitting requirements
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a team
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
